The Challenge

Hospital transfer management is a complex process plagued by manual coordination, lack of visibility, and inefficiencies. Traditional methods involve phone calls, guesswork, and guesswork, leading to delays, uneven workloads, and attendance blind spots.

Our Approach

We were tasked with designing a comprehensive solution that streamlines hospital transfer management, automates nearest-staff matching, and provides real-time visibility into the entire process.

What We Built

A request intake system that allows hospital staff to submit transfer requests from their ticketing system or manually
A nearest-staff matching feature that ranks staff based on tower and floor distance
A staff mobile app for push alerts, acceptance, and updates
A web dashboard and admin app for coordinators to monitor and control the transfer process
QR bay attendance system for staff to mark their shifts, breaks, and locations
Timed out and escalated system for unanswered jobs and idle requests
Reporting and export features for task and staff performance

We chose a technology stack of NodeJS, Next.js, and ReactJS to build the Orderlee platform. This combination provides a robust and scalable architecture that can handle the demands of real-time data processing and visualization.
