SAQR is a 2024 e-commerce website built on Magento with a Bootstrap front end. It runs on a multi-cloud setup spanning AWS, Google Cloud and DigitalOcean, with Cloudflare handling delivery and protection for online shoppers.

The Challenge

SAQR needed a website that could work as an online store, not just a brochure. That meant a platform able to manage a catalogue, handle orders and stay available as traffic changed. The brief also called for a site that would load reliably for visitors and give the team a practical way to manage it after launch.

The facts available about the project's wider business context are limited, so we focus here on what the build had to do: support e-commerce, present products clearly and run on infrastructure that could be relied on.

Our Approach

We chose Magento as the foundation because it is built for commerce and gives the team a mature admin environment for products, orders and content. On top of it, we used Bootstrap to build a responsive front end, so the layout adapts consistently across screen sizes without relying on heavy custom styling.

For hosting and delivery, we spread the infrastructure across established providers rather than tying the site to a single service. Cloudflare sits in front of the site to handle delivery and protection, while AWS, DigitalOcean and GCP provide the underlying cloud resources. The site launched in 2024 and is live at https://www.saqronline.com/.

What We Built

  • A Magento-powered storefront for browsing and purchasing products
  • Responsive page templates built with Bootstrap for desktop and mobile
  • A managed catalogue and order workflow through the Magento admin
  • Cloudflare integration in front of the site for delivery and security
  • Cloud-hosted infrastructure spanning AWS, DigitalOcean and GCP

More about this project

Technology

Magento suits SAQR because the project is fundamentally about selling online: it provides catalogue management, checkout and order handling out of the box, with room to extend them as needs change. Bootstrap keeps the front end predictable and responsive, which makes templates quicker to build and easier to maintain. Cloudflare adds a layer between visitors and the servers, helping with performance and protection, while AWS, DigitalOcean and GCP give the hosting setup flexibility in where services run. Together, the stack pairs a proven commerce platform with a practical front-end framework and a resilient hosting approach.
